The nut is growing.

When we were in Key West we found conconuts an the kids brought a few back. I have been trying to start a tree from the nuts for a while. This one from Breann was lying on the concrete and I told Shirl to get rid if it, when she picked it up roots had developed on the bottom so i planted it and now the plant has sprouted. Thank you Breann.

And the winner is

We all ran the 5k in St Augustine saturday, well Mum and I walked, and Miss Shirley was the winner in her age group. Congradulations for a job well done.

We finally finished our patio cover, we are trying to blend in with the neighborhood

This is a hawk moth. Shirl spotted it in the flowers yesterday. It flies very fast. At first we thought it was a hummingbird.

All of us were in the Watermelon 5k on Sunday. We finished dead last cause of the older folk. Over 2000people and we had a great time.
