Chickens up a tree

 Our neighbors left behind seven chickens when they moved.  Only two are left. Could not figure out where they were roosting. Tom spotted them from the shop high in oak tree safe from predators. They are 30 feet above the ground.

 Nice when they lay where they should, not so good when one hen lays in the yard.And the last hen is Fiona Cluck

Weather Station

Finally got our weather station up and running. Lauri did all the tech work, me the installation.

Animal overpass

This is a pic of the overpass that they construct in Canada to allow the animals to cross freely, there is also an underpass.

Our clucks have started laying eggs and we are proud of them especially the one who laid the big one.
